I’m Dennis Pearson a Los Angeles based actor working across film, television and theatre.

My work centers on grounded, character-driven storytelling. Recent highlights include winning Best Actor at the DC Black Film Festival for Tinderbox, leading Unlocked to a Tribeca Best Branded Film nomination, performing at the Mark Taper Forum in Blues for an Alabama Sky directed by Phylicia Rashad and a role on the FX pilot The Bends.

Whether in a two-hour drama or a 30-second campaign for brands including HP, Coke Zero, Hippo Home Insurance or Optimum’s iPhone 17 Pro, I bring the same commitment to specificity, intelligence and emotional truth.

I’m drawn to morally layered roles. Characters who carry tension beneath the surface and hold contradictions without announcing them.

Beyond acting, I’m developing original projects including The Cost of Living (limited series), The Participant (audio drama) and Between the Lines (a Substack on craft, responsibility and career-building)
