WELCOME
Hi, I’m Dennis Pearson.
I’m an actor, writer, producer and creative from Long Beach, California.
I believe stories help us make sense of who we are, what we value and how we move through the world. That’s what draws me to this work whether I’m performing in someone else’s story or building one of my own.
Here you’ll find the projects I’m creating, the work I’m fortunate enough to be a part of and occasional reflections on craft, responsibility, creativity and the people who inspire me.
No matter the medium, I try to approach the work with the same intention:
Presence over Performance.
Specificity over Generality.
Truth over Display.
Thanks for stopping by.

STORIES I’M CURRENTLY BUILDING:
- AFTERLIGHT— Feature Film. A photographer facing the gradual loss of his sight races to preserve memory, legacy and the community that shaped him before darkness arrives.
- THE COST OF LIVING — Limited Series. A near-future drama examining dignity, work and human worth in a world increasingly shaped by automation.
- THE PARTICIPANT— Audio Drama. A psychological thriller about a bank manager forced to rob his own bank while his family is held hostage.
- BETWEEN THE LINES — Substack. Essays and conversations on craft, responsibility and the work that happens when no one’s watching.
